What is your topic and why did you choose to research and write about it?

 My topic is about illegal immigration and I choose to write about this topic because a lot of people have different opinions on it.

Who did you write your letter to, and why did you pick them?

I wrote my letter to Congressman Andy Harris. I choose to write to him because he is likely to vote against the immigration reform.

What were some other choices when it came to writing a letter on this topic?

I also thought of writing the letter to John Boehner because he is the speaker of the United States House of Representatives. He decides whether things like the immigration reform will get voted on.

If your readers want to get involved themselves, what do you recommend?

 I recommend the same thing that I am doing and write a letter to a congressman who is against immigration reform.
